Understanding and overcoming body stiffness

This adapted yoga retreat will give you ample tools to learn how to effectively reduce body stiffness and stress. We will explore first-hand the anatomical and scientific theory as well as learn yoga practices to reduce overall stiffness.
As medical science has proven, stress is stored in our organs, muscles, and fascia. It tightens the body, causing physical and mental rigidity. It has been known to increase blood pressure, mental confusion, and reduce overall well-being. During this retreat you will learn stress management techniques to open the body and calm the mind. There will be daily anatomy sessions centered around the systems affected by stress and time for personal investigation on how to create a more stress-free life.
