October 4 - 6, 2019
In today’s world of convenience and technology, we see the negative impacts of a sedentary lifestyle with the increase of back pain and poor posture. Our modern, seated culture is known to cause imbalances on all levels of our psyche.
During this weekend program designed for yoga practitioners and teachers, you will learn the anatomical theory related to the spine as well as the subtle qualities of our back-body. You will also gain tools to strengthen and lengthen your torso which offer support to your body and mind. Through hands-on assistance and visual cues, you will learn your own unique way to sit, stand, and walk that positively affects your mind, confidence, breathing, and life.
Join Lila for this adapted yoga weekend retreat on the numerous benefits of moving through life with a healthy, strong, and supple spine.
