Yoga Retreat for ASL Interpreters: 360 Degrees of Yoga
With Lila Lolling, ERYT500 and Andrea Schock, NIC
August 1 - 4, 2019
This annual retreat designed for ASL interpreters and ITP students is in its sixth year and we are thrilled to be offering it again. This year’s theme “360 Degrees of Yoga” is centered around returning to our roots, the foundation of our being and how to live a balanced life according to classical Yoga. During our time together, you will experience daily meditations, yoga classes and workshops that will help you develop yourself personally. You will also participate in ASL anatomy classes and interpreting yoga practicums to develop yourself professionally. Andrea guides how to breakdown yoga poses and theory for the most effective and efficient interpretation. Lila offers insights into classical yoga philosophy and how to be empowered in your personal evolution. This retreat is going back to the basics, remembering the beauty of slowing down and creating time for connection and self-reflection. Join us for this retreat, a perfect blend between personal and professional development.
* This retreat is only open to ASL interpreters and ITP students in their final year.
