Isani

Isani is a certified Sivananda yoga teacher and has been cooking at the NY center for more than a decade. Raised and Trained by her grandmother (a licensed professional cook and teacher), she grew up in the Alps, selecting herbs from nature for health remedies, including but not limited for cooking purpose. She’s cooked and trained in an ayurvedic hospital in Kerala for the past 12 years. When visiting her relatives in Italy she cooked in a restaurant in Veneto known for its home made pasta. Making ghee (clarified butter) and natural healing remedies has been an integral part of her training. In this workshop she will share her knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic foods and instruct those how to heal their own bodies through with a proper yogic diet.
